John Gill expansion

A major expansion was planned by John Gill Ltd (selling the marques Jeep, Chrysler, Kia, Morgan) to provide for the public, a state of the art facility and to meet manufacturers requirements.

After previously painting the floor themselves many times, the family business established for 81 years in Bedale, wanted a long-term solution to upgrade their facility to a brighter, more sophisticated workshop. Our durable enhanced high-build epoxy coating system, supported by our 4 year guarantee, persuaded Mr Gill to have a professional service completed.

The more they painted the workshop floor the quicker it came off, resulted in a build up of multiple coats. Our specialist preparation system took the floor back to bare concrete. Being a multiple franchise site, there was not one specified colour scheme, therefore Mr Gill chose an attractive colour scheme of Wine Red floor with Cloud Grey ramp areas demarked by white lines. The MOT bay area floor was finished with black and yellow chevrons, to meet current VOSA regulations.

The transformation was over one weekend – ready for Monday morning’s servicing. Managing Director, Mr John Gill was very pleased with the finished result and was impressed with our contract staff, he said “The team were first class!”
