No Trips for Bakkavor Dips

When the UK’s leading provider of fresh prepared foods and produce, Bakkavör Group, contacted Gallagher’s as they required an anti-slip floor finish, suitable for the food industry.

The existing floor screed was in a good condition but had lost it’s anti-slip properties and was a slip hazard. Due to the severe time constraints because it was in a busy order fulfillment area, a fast economical solution was required.

Gallagher’s prepared the floor and applied a fast cure epoxy repair system to holes and defects. We then recoated the area with a taint-free, food grade high build epoxy resin coating system in Safety Red which incorporated an aggregate which was to their approved size and density to achieve the safety surface required.

The works were completed within 12 hours and was ready for use 12 hours hours later.
